In this blog, students in the course ARE 4/520: Community, Culture, and Art Education will share their collaboration with BICAS (Bicycle Inter-Community Art + Salvage) during Fall 2010. Twenty-two students are enrolled in the course, and they have chosen to work in three primary groups with BICAS. Each post is tagged with a group name: Art Auction, Workshop Outreach, and Grant Writing. Graduate students Michelle, Jamie, Shana, Angie, Val, Heidi, and Casie are facilitating each of these groups in close collaboration with Casey, Troy, and John at BICAS. Throughout the semester, we will be working toward BICAS' annual culminating fundraiser: The Art Auction! Thank you for reading!
