Tuesday November 2nd was a warm and windy day. I went to the Mall right as soon as my class was out and helped set up on the mall. It was a great day to be outside. We had every thing you needed to make a great wallet/coin purse! I sat at the table most of the day talking to passer by's about what we were doing, who we were and what the cause we were supporting! A lot of people were interested. My friend came and made a coin purse for himself, of course giving a cash donation. Some were wondering about workshops and of course we let them know all about the Friday workshops at BICAS and also about basic information about what BICAS is! I felt like we got the name out there and grabbed the attention of the viewers. We put a lot of effort getting the supplies out there and back. Set up and take down was a bit tricky but it was great to introduce a new demographic to BICAS. Right now I am in the process of making a stamp to make prints for thank you cards for the artists that donate art to the auction! I am excited for the next workshop we are doing. We are planning what type of art we should make for this one coming up. Time to get those creative juices flowing!
