Auction, auction, auction!

This semester has flown by so fast. It's hard to believe that the auction is this weekend. I'm excited about the piece I was able to contribute, but I wish I had documented it better. I thought I scanned it before leaving the house, but it must not have saved. Instead, I can only share an image of what inspired me.

Pee-wee's Big Adventure is one of my all-time favorites and, since I find myself making art about pop culture pretty frequently, it seemed like a perfect match for BICAS. I hope my paper cut will end up in a good home! I also should have photographed the great bags that a friend of mine donated. She is so talented with a sewing machine. I almost wanted to keep them for myself. ;) Getting a chance to see everybody's contributions to the auction is what I'm most looking forward to. I've signed up to help out in the kid's corner, which I'm guessing will be a ton of fun.
