Auction Weekend

I managed to get a photo of my piece on Saturday when the auction was being set up!

Jake and I did a really good job hanging this sign over the merch table. Unfortunately, it was removed later that night. ;) We also helped Kylie put the signs out on the streets leading to the venue.

Here are the bags donated by my friend Donna. I think the reflector on the strap of the large one was an excellent touch.

There's Pee-wee in the mix with a whole bunch of other great artwork. I was really impressed by everything that was donated this year.

The performances on the night of the auction were super entertaining. I think the kids really loved being able to participate in the fun.

 The packed house!!

Kid's Corner! Setting up paper for kids to draw all over the table and walls was a great idea. I still love going to restaurants that let you color on your place mats, and walls are even better!

Here are some of our classmates checking out the collaborative piece made at their workshop. I love seeing the finished product and trying to find the bottle caps I worked on.

I'd say that this year's auction was a big success. Everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves and it seemed like the majority of the artwork found a new home. It was an experience that I won't soon forget. Good job, guys!
