Anyway, I spent both yesterday and today at The Whistlestop documenting the setting up and the opening night of Bicas' Art Auction. Some pictures:

I am absolutely IN LOVE with The Whistlestop! The building is amazing, I now want to do a full documentary on the building itself. I spent much of yesterday (friday) talking to Carl (the owner of the building, photographed above looking straight into the camera) and learning about the history behind the structure. Him and his partner( I cannot recall his name) have pretty much built it all by hand out of salvaged material. I can honestly say that it is one of the most interesting and idiosyncratic buildings I have ever been in; a pleasure IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD. I apologize for the late entry. Honestly, I simply lost track of time.
Nice shots, I love that wide-angle lens, especially the shots you took from high up on the staircase. I love the whislte stop also!
