Late entry!

I swear I must've lost a full day somewhere because I am just now realizing that it's saturday and that I didn't post anything last night!
Anyway, I spent both yesterday and today at The Whistlestop documenting the setting up and the opening night of Bicas' Art Auction. Some pictures:











I am absolutely IN LOVE with The Whistlestop! The building is amazing, I now want to do a full documentary on the building itself. I spent much of yesterday (friday) talking to Carl (the owner of the building, photographed above looking straight into the camera) and learning about the history behind the structure. Him and his partner( I cannot recall his name) have pretty much built it all by hand out of salvaged material. I can honestly say that it is one of the most interesting and idiosyncratic buildings I have ever been in; a pleasure IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD.
