First night of CJS/ELP A VideoFest

Attendance was not as good as we had hoped for, especially at first, But as the night went on more people began to trickle in until a decent audience assembled. There was concern over one of the videos, Narcozombie, which contains a scene of what some could consider graphic violence against a female (zombie) character. I understood the concern but still thought it was important to maintain the program intact as it was intended and shown in Cd. Juárez. When the time the 80-90 minute program ended I had a small chat with the audience and found out that a couple of them were in fact spanish speakers who then procceded to fill the non-spanish speakers in on what they ahd missed from the videos. The exercise was quite fun. Hopefully next week, we'll have a better audience and hopefully more spanish speakers will come out.
