Process of putting them together!
Our community art piece that we will donate to BICAS has come a long way since the workshop. It has been rather difficult for the group to meet as a whole, but luckily on Tuesday we wee able to complete and outline of the bike silhouette and the bottle caps surrounding it. We are currently working on meeting up this weekend to continue to glue all the bottle caps together carefully to display everyone's work of art from the workshop! I am very excited to see the end result of our piece. The most difficult part about putting all of the bottle caps on the board is the organization. Since the bottle caps are circular, and the bike silhouette has many curved edges, it's difficult to create a perfect shape. We are working on working around this and adjusting the bottle caps to fit the form of the bike. Everyone's bottle cap is very beautiful! Hopefully lots of people will be able to attend the auction to see their work of art as support BICAS!
