Coming up..!

With the semester coming to an end, the class's focus has shifted from preparation and workshops to the symposium and the BICAS art auction. Now that these have become the main priorities, there is work that needs to be done! My main focus lately has been creating my piece for the art auction. I decided to make a dream-catcher out of a bike wheel, which has been a really fun piece to experiment with. Our submissions for the auction are due this weekend, so I plan to finish up the dreamcatcher tonight! Next, we have the actual auction to look forward to; when we return from Thanksgiving break the auction is right around the corner. When we return from break, we plan to create rubber bike tube corsages that will help establish us at the auction. Another part of my plan of action is to spend time helping BICAS with the preparation, so that is something else I am looking forward to. I can't wait to see everything unfold with the auction, and I am extremely excited to see what everyone is contributing!
