After visiting BICAS for the first time and talking to Casey about possibly hosting a series of film showings, I quickly remembered that a very good friend of mine back home (in Cd. Juárez) had just put together a Videofestival showcasing works produced by residents of the Juárez-El Paso border area. I asked Casey if Bicas might be interested in hosting a Tucson edition of the fest and then worked on measuring the interest of everybody involved in the festival for their work to be shown in Tucson. What follows is the thread of emails where I first contacted Angel Estrada (he is the original organizer and curator of the festival in Cd. Juárez) about this idea and then we moved on to getting permission from all the videomakers.

Luckily, they all were extremely happy to be part of the Tucson edition of the videofestival, so then all that was needed was to come up with poster to publicize the festival:
