Come One Come All!!!
My group and I will be facilitating a workshop on the UA MALL Tuesday November 8, 2011. Here we are asking for help from the UA community to draw and color recycled bottle caps so that we can create a community art project to donate to BICAS Annual Art Auction. Our plans are to create the image of a bike using nothing more then the recycled bottle caps and recycled plywood.
To prepare for this work shop each member of our group collected bottle caps from various locations and spray painted them with a flat white spray paint. We plan on using both sharpies and color pencils to let the community draw their favorite cartoons, logos, sports teams, or even basic patterns. While we have members of the community drawing for us we will be informing them of what BICAS is and what they do for our community, also we will be sharing to them when the art auction is and where so that they may come and look at the finished art piece and perhaps gain interest and show support to BICAS.
And to say THANK YOU to our participants we will be handing out otter pops to cool them off as they get to their next destination.
